Perfect for a gin filler, but you can't easily change the bag without touching the top of the litter where you throw it. With permanent feeding bags, you don't have to deal with it as often. I have bought many 8 gallon scented sachets to use with this and when I'm not trying to make a lot of 'splits' the size of the sachet works great and the scent is just as contained as the brand's sachets genius . I'm not sure if unscented sachets would work too. The product's ring (the part that goes up and down and secures the bag) is quite fragile so I'm curious how long it will last. I think it will definitely pay off in the long run if it lasts a decent amount of time. Of course not as comfortable as permanent feeding bags, but overall I'm satisfied so far.
