Review on πŸ“Ά Boost Your Wi-Fi Signal with TP-Link N300 Wireless Extender and Router - 2 High Power Antennas, Access Point, WISP, 300Mbps by Xander Kio Zion ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I like the product very much, fully consistent with my expectations.

I needed an access point for distributing the Internet from a dedicated line, that is, with a WAN port and preferably with WiFi N. At first I thought to take some D-Link DAP-1160 (which, by the way, is only WiFi G), since before that I used only them ( again due to price / quality), but then I came across reviews about TP-Link, in particular, the reviewed model. Before that, to be honest, I was skeptical about TP-Link, because I heard a lot of flattering reviews ("heating, breaks", etc.), but this time I decided to try it, besides, the price for the proposed functionality turned out to be very attractive. And I was not mistaken (so far). I was pleasantly surprised - the setup took about a minute and a half. The only thing - downloaded a new firmware. The router practically does not heat up, in comparison with the same D-link, despite the fact that the WiFi power is set to High. So far very satisfied. When I chose this model, the younger 741N stood nearby, with one antenna and another "old" square design. But I decided to take a newer one, especially since the difference was about $10. In general, summing up: if you need an inexpensive functional WiFi N router, take a closer look at this model.

Pros
  • WiFi N support (up to 300M/b) Value for money Quick and easy setup Low heat 4-port switch
