I read reviews and people said it was difficult to use when I first assembled it, it's intuitive to place screen edge down actually should it being folded to the dome was larger and the handle spindle went securely into everything after I found out I had no problems, the blade didn't rub against it, it's very well made and I use the smaller tomato strainer for what I use it for I use and have purchased I make the sauce at least once a week and it is absolutely amazingly easy to clean up. I suggest taking a brush or a small brush to clean the screen the screen enjoy have a nice day , lots of love to Giovanni
