The swivel blade looks like it was not precisely designed and got stuck in the grid plate. The grid plate itself looks like it has punched holes with a rough, uneven surface. It also had traces of rust, which made me wonder what metal it was made of. Overall the quality is very poor and the one I received was defective.

I'm embarrassed to give four stars when I like how it works. However, at this price point I think it could have had better welds, polish and thicker stainless steel. Works great so far, but the processing is a bit rough. Some of the welds went through the stainless steel, leaving jagged edges on the inside. I only speak to people who know what it's used for and have used it in the past. Okay, you know what it is and you need it. get it too The size is large and the quality is excellent. What more do you want? You'll need a pot to put down when you're ready to strain the tomatoes, that's all. Remember it's big. That is a good thing. I have another one I bought. Of all the grocery stores under $200 this one was the best. It doesn't work like the Paderno I used in one of my works. BTW it was a full size Paderno, not the one they offer that looks like it.
