Not the best quality in kitchenware and gadgets

The swivel blade looks like it was not precisely designed and got stuck in the grid plate. The grid plate itself looks like it has punched holes with a rough, uneven surface. It also had traces of rust, which made me wonder what metal it was made of. Overall the quality is very poor and the one I received was defective.

Pros
  • GOLS certified

  • Does not fit all

5 stars for functionality, 3 stars for workmanship.

I'm embarrassed to give four stars when I like how it works. However, at this price point I think it could have had better welds, polish and thicker stainless steel. Works great so far, but the processing is a bit rough. Some of the welds went through the stainless steel, leaving jagged edges on the inside. I have read all the reviews and articles I could find online about food plants and I would still go for this one. Everything else appears to be made in China. I think I expected Roslet or…

Do you need a meat grinder? That's what you get.

I only speak to people who know what it's used for and have used it in the past. Okay, you know what it is and you need it. get it too The size is large and the quality is excellent. What more do you want? You'll need a pot to put down when you're ready to strain the tomatoes, that's all. Remember it's big. That is a good thing. I have another one I bought. I assume it's OXO Grip? It's too small to be useful. This one is bigger and much healthier for passing lots of tomatoes etc. Much luck.

  • Brilliantly made

Made in France by Kitchen & Dining

I read reviews and people said it was difficult to use when I first assembled it, it's intuitive to place screen edge down actually should it being folded to the dome was larger and the handle spindle went securely into everything after I found out I had no problems, the blade didn't rub against it, it's very well made and I use the smaller tomato strainer for what I use it for I use and have purchased I make the sauce at least once a week and it is absolutely amazingly easy to clean up. I…

Something is wrong

I bought this meat grinder based on recommendations from various cooking websites to replace a smaller one that had been taking quite a while to use. In the fall I made a lot of applesauce because we had a rich harvest that fall. The recommendations are correct: this grinder processes large quantities very quickly. BUT as others have said, the circular mechanism is too close to the 'teeth' of the bottom disc. When using the grinder, not only can you hear the grinding of metal on metal, but also

Perfect for the. - Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

Not everyone is going to need this meat grinder due to today's busy lifestyles, but for those of us who can have a tomato garden every year or want to make our own soups and sauces - this grinder is essential, to separate the peel and seeds from the pulp. I now make delicious, authentic dried pepper enchilada sauces, create the smoothest seedless tomato sauces, not to mention harness all the health benefits of freshly picked berries to make seedless syrups, jellies or jams. I'm sure there are…

Of all the grocery stores under $200 this one was the best. It doesn't work like the Paderno I used in one of my works. BTW it was a full size Paderno, not the one they offer that looks like it. This is on the plus side, slightly smaller which is better for my house. the design is pleasant. The sidewall is thin. You can see the imprint left by the rivets in the metal. that's true of everything I've seen. It doesn't seem to want to flex, and again, its light weight helps for home use. Again…
