I really liked this box, it's very spacious so the female doesn't have to worry when the fry are born. The partition wall worked great and the children were able to get away from their mother. Later that night I found some babies in the aquarium and thought I had another guppy. It turned out that this was not the case and the children could enter and exit the breeding box. Confirmed in another tank as I ended up in a box with some juveniles when all the female guppies were in the tank. I like the baffles and the size but the mesh for the grower is too big which can be considered a major flaw. On the other hand, if you don't want to isolate the female for birth, the babies in the aquarium can swim away from the adults by swimming into the crate. However, there is no guarantee that the children will stay at home.
