These are lovely pajamas -- they are light-weight and feel very soft. I have several pairs of pjs from this brand (HXG) so I knew to expect quality fabric and workmanship and these definitely do not disappoint. I was a bit hesitant to order pjs with a tie-dyed design but I'm glad I took a chance because I really like the pattern as well as the colors. I am 5'4" tall and wear a size 14 and typically order size L in t-shirts and XL in nicer tops or those that seem as if they are form-fitting. According to the size chart, I should be a size L or XL in this brand and my other pjs from this brand are size XL which fit very well and size 2XL which are really a bit too roomy. Just to be on the safe side since I already knew that the fabric would be thin and I figured the light colors wouldn't really help camouflage any of my flaws, I went with the size 2XL. I'm glad I did because they actually fit quite well and aren't too roomy at all. They are loose enough to be comfy and flattering but are not oversized. The top fits pretty well through the shoulders, with the seam falling an inch or so past my actual shoulder, which I like because it allows more freedom of movement. The v-neckline is a bit low but not dangerously so. The shirred bodice does make me look a bit bustier than I already am, but I knew that would happen so I can't really complain. The sleeves are just the right length for me which almost never happens (they are usually too long). I really like the lettuce edged sleeves, waist and legs -- so cute! The top extends to my lower hip and completely covers my Rea, which I wanted. The waist of the bottoms is loose but there is a functional drawstring so I can cinch it up. The bottoms have a fairly high rise and they are also a couple of inches too long on me, so I just pull them up a bit and roll the waistband over three or four times and that takes care of the excess length without looking odd. The fabric is a bamboo/spandex blend and is of good quality and although it is thin and light, it doesn't feel flimsy. The fabric drapes nicely. For me, these are warm weather pjs. They aren't nearly thick or heavy enough for me in the winter when I favor my flannel pjs. These will work for later spring, all but the very hottest summer nights and early fall. The pjs are well made although at $50.99, I do think they are a bit pricey. They are too cute and comfortable to pass up, though.
