I'm not a very picky tech pro but I've had this unit for a few years and it still works great so it counts as great in my book. Drives get either 5 stars from me if they last a long time or 1 star if they break and lose my data, I'm well aware of a thing or two because I just need them to keep my data safe and don't have to worry about bean counting other technical details about the performance. I use it everyday just plugging it in as extra storage on my desk so I don't travel with it, never drop or bump it, it's always on my desk. same safe place but I download and open stuff everyday so I've been using it consistently for quite some time and it still works great so wouldn't ask for more.
