One feature this product lacks is the size of the hanging bar. Most other hangers of this type are 3/8 inch (about 10mm) in diameter. This rod is 8mm in diameter so it is very loose in regular rubber mounts. I ordered additional stainless steel bars from Vorocious Motorsports. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003IQZHPG/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_MN0W30MYEZW7BDB9SQ7V?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 and then welded to the pole. You could argue that if I could weld stainless steel I'd just have to weld a rod to my exhaust, which is true, but it's nice to be able to loosen the bolts occasionally if needed. Alternatively, you can chuck them on a lathe and thin out the "leg" to 8mm, then tap them with a 3/8-16 thread cutter and use the original nuts, then no welding is required. Or you might just live with an 8mm bar - find rubber hangers for an 8mm bar etc. It's just important to know how big the hanger bar is. Great part and good price.
