My granddaughter and I made this project and it turned out well, but only because we know how to sew. Directions are inadequate and deliveries could be better. We used gallon ziplock bags instead of the bags provided and my own latex gloves to keep the glue from sticking to the plastic gloves. We took turns doing one balloon at a time as the other had to untangle the rope while we wrapped it around the balloon (two deflated ropes in the middle of the wrap, maybe try a balloon). We laughed a lot while working on this project because we love to make crafts, but it's not for beginners under 10-12 years old. Once completed, there seems to be no way to turn the candle on. After the adventure, the string balls turned out really beautiful and are hanging from the ceiling in her room.
