With three dogs, three cats and a man who sheds his hair and doesn't want to dry his feet, the magic caretaker is really magic. It's very good at picking up all the fluff from critters (among other things) and is thin and flexible enough to get under furniture. It even works to remove lint from carpets. litter box? No problem. Little dirt? Not as much. Unfortunately, vacuuming is still necessary. It's a bit weak, but I don't need it to move rocks, so I'm not complaining. In addition, its light weight makes it very easy to use and manoeuvre. It's made for short people (I'm 5'8) so I'll probably have to steal part of the handle from one to lengthen the other.
