The holes in the legs are VERY big for a cat.
I'm very glad I tried this at home for the first time. My chunky little escape master climbed out through a hole in his leg in about 3 seconds. That would be good for the dog. My cat is about 12 pounds and I got a large one and it fit him perfectly, but if your cat is terribly inflexible I wouldn't consider that a cat.
