I've been using this buckle for a few months now. It looks good, holds securely (I've never had a slippage from the ratchet) and is easy to take off to undo. I love how the darker indentations help highlight the silver on the buckle. Considering the cost of the buckle, the quality of materials and workmanship exceeded my expectations. The closest thing to a complaint is a scratch I found on the guide bar where the strap comes out of the buckle. I'm not downgrading because I don't know if I caused the scratches or if they were there when I received them and I didn't notice.
