Axle shaft internal dimension is NOT 39mm long. as noted. It's more like 35mm. The supplied very thin shims (much thinner than those shown on the product photo page) (only 5 not 8 as needed) do not compensate for the difference in width. And the inner diameter of the washer is about 8mm and the axle is 5mm, so they sit very sloppy. I ended up having to buy more washers to complete the installation. I have never seen, felt or heard a brand new ball bearing run as hard as this one. Either the balls are not spherical or the raceways are not properly machined. They make noise even when walking on carpet. Completely unacceptable product for the 21st century. I suspect that in the near future I will have to completely redo the wheels.
