I first bought this model a few years ago. It was used regularly and quite heavily. Although it's dishwasher safe, we weren't able to fit it in our dishwasher, it depends on the dishwasher model. But it's still very easy to hand wash because you don't have to worry about the contacts getting wet while washing. After several years, including moving, it finally had to be replaced. It still worked well, but due to storage issues and rough handling, the legs and outer plastic case had chipped and had small cracks. It's pretty durable, it's just had a rough life because our new kitchen had serious storage issues and we weren't as careful as we should have been. happy enough with the old one that it would be better to replace it with the same model. Luckily the product is still available and the quality hasn't changed based on the reviews. We were equally satisfied with the new product. I've designed the best storage system that doesn't make it prone to corruption. It has some areas that are a bit hotter than other areas, which I think is inevitable with any oversized electric skillet. This is very small and does not affect performance. The only time I notice it is when I'm looking for it on purpose, so I make some big pancakes to see what's happening on that surface for myself. Despite this, the hot spots are negligible, the food cooks evenly, the only thing to note is that there may be some spots on the surface of a large pancake that are a little less dark than other spots. I cooked all the eggs from the sunny side. , pancakes, sausage, bacon, grilled sandwiches, tortillas and more. I've been happy with everything I've cooked with it. The drip pan is large enough to hold all of the melted fat from a full 1.5 pound pack of bacon (thinly sliced so it covers the entire surface of the pan) without spilling.
