Review on 🪑 Winsome Wood Antique Walnut Stool - Classic and Elegant Seating Solution by Elizabeth Rue

When delivered, the surface looks very good. However, there were no instructions included. I tried to see if the company's website offers them in PDF format, as far as I can tell they don't. But it's a step stool, and I'm a smart guy, so I was able to assemble it after looking at the picture of the Ge stool on the website. My biggest problem is the poor quality of the hardware. They barely pre-drilled the holes and included large threaded wood studs/screws. However, a hex wrench is used to tighten these bolts/screws. These bolts/screws are also made from the softest and cheapest metal known to man. There are no precision parts here. Two of them were half naked. I'm still scratching my head on how I'm going to finish this build. And even when I get them back, they only contain the exact amount needed. No extras. C'mon Winsome, if you're using such cheap parts I think you should have enough money left over to add some extra hardware. I'll finish this and I'm sure it will be good for the application I want it for, at my strong suggestion: you discard this stool and buy another one.
