Review on Crash Tested Commuter Carrier Black by Crystal Phillips

Great carrier but not my favorite

What I like:- I received this carrier to test its safety. It is very durable. The seat belt clips are great and the seat belt is very easy to put on and take off. I like that it has really good airflow - it will be great during summer travel. What I don't like: - The wire frame is held in place by strong Velcro around the entire curve. It's too difficult to remove this velcro and put it back on every time the carrier is used, so folding down when not in use doesn't happen. - No pockets (for travel water plate, leash, folded documents, etc.) - Is there a weird metal clip on a cord inside that I think could be attached to a harness or something? I put it under the bed but it leaves a lump. Feel like I should probably just clip it - no pocket loop to attach to the wheeled handle when taking your pet through the airport - airflow is good, but that comes at the expense of security, which cats love ( I ended up getting a light blanket on the sides in the car because my kitty didn't feel safe - the blanket calmed him down and he fell asleep), pockets and a loop for rolling luggage (my cat is small now but he didn't win soon, and a 12-13lb adult cat gets heavy quickly when in major airports Honestly, if you're considering this or a sleeping pod for your cat (or small dog), go for one Sleep pod I have one of these for my other cat and am starting to find things like the bag and the fold that I am missing This carrier is great it is safe, durable and pet friendly but her lacks the features that make life for vets and travel easier. If I hadn't already used it I would return it for another one :/

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
