So the dark navy is definitely more visible than the black in the striped part, which is perfect for my husband's navy blue pea coat. The fabric is super soft. The only point of criticism, there are small defects (see photo). I've bought several scarves from Amazon over the past month and this quality is kind of the sweet spot. The fringe ends aren't the worst I've seen, but chances are they'll unravel over time. There are a few stretched threads, which of course is a manufacturing defect. One long side appears to be hemmed, the other not. It's actually a $13 scarf. It costs $13, but don't expect anyone to think it's a high-end designer because the quality just isn't of that caliber.
