I read many reviews about these home wax kits and finally settled on this one. Firstly, it came much sooner than promised - hooray! Let me just say I bought it to get rid of the stubborn, coarse hairs around my chin and neck and probably my eyebrows and maybe my lips (the least of my worries). I was skeptical, mainly because of the "no stripe of fabric" feature. In fact, it worked as advertised. It was a bit messy, but actually less so than the ones you use stripes on. The rest of the wax was fairly easy to remove, mostly just flaking off. I have tried many at home waxing kits over the years and this is the easiest and most effective I have ever tried. some. This was the case for me when using this product, but I expected it. The nice thing was that the ones I had to pick came out very easily. I was very pleased with the results, so much so that I only came here to write a review. Tips: When they say leave a thick border, they mean it. Leaving it narrow makes it difficult to tear off the edge to rip off the hardened, hairy wax. It was difficult for me to get a thicker edge without leaving gossamer traces of wax. The more I did it, the better I got at it. On your first run, I'd recommend trying an easily accessible spot with little or no flex. I started with the jaw area and it was hard to "learn". So after the first area on the chin I moved on to the neck and it got a lot easier. Then, returning to the chin, I simplified the technique a bit for a more difficult area. Make sure your hair grows out at least half an inch. I think it gets a lot easier with practice. I haven't tried my brows yet but I will eventually before they fill in completely and I lose the shape I got professionally done at the salon a while ago. I will definitely have a chin done and I hope that the hair will thin out over time, I am very, very satisfied!
