Strong yet lightweight: storage and organization

OK. I bought these for my baker's shelf to hang cups and maybe pans. They're good quality and I like the rubber tabs, but both bends are so big I feel like they're not securely attached to my rack. It's normal for mugs, although I'm nervous, but with heavier items, the hook rises with the item I'm lifting because it's so light. It will do the trick, but I'd like something more personal.
