It will not be worth the cost. Made the switch to wireless, low-profile mechanics that were 30 percent cheaper than the subject. Although it is noisier and discharges at a higher rate, it functions without jambs, has a frame made entirely of aluminum, and is laid out in the standard ANSI fashion. The key mechanism was quite quiet, and it had a long battery life (although I didn't use the backlight very often). Its drawbacks include its layout, price, plastic frame, location of function keys (glued together and displaced due to long Esc), and the fact that the volume up button can become stuck until the keyboard is turned off (this is a crucial issue for me because I use a DAC with a wide margin of power, and there was a risk of overloading the headphones).
