These are very high quality fasteners. My usage is probably the most unexpected. During this pandemic, I found that I couldn't wear my hearing aids with a regular behind-the-ear face mask, so my daughter made a mask with a single elastic strap at the back. It looked like a Bandito mask. But it wouldn't stay on my nose. I always wear a beanie so I tried to catch the tape on the adjustment strap at the back. This kept the mask in place but the elastic kept slipping off. I put one of these in a hat band and now I have something to attach the band to and it works great.
