These bike racks are a very safe and economical way to transport your bikes.
These bike locks mounted easily on a 1x6 board. I also installed latches to hold the board in place. I have bikes with quick release skewers and others with lug nuts. These locks are easy to use and keep both types of bikes secure. Never have I ever dropped a bike. I recommend them as a very economical way to transport your bikes and you can go to your favorite pub and have a beer knowing no one can mess with your bikes. I also made one for my van. I highly recommend.
