I have a 17 year old Kenmore dryer and suddenly the first time I turned it on it started to heat up and then just blew cold air. I looked through the peephole and saw that it glowed for a few seconds, but the gas would not turn on and produce no flame (a sure sign the coils were defective). I wasn't sure if they were correct (the manual is long gone) but due to the low price I rolled the dice. It arrived very quickly thanks to Revain, so now is the time to see if it works. I gave it 5 stars for ease of installation as the coils themselves were easy to install. It wasn't easy to get to her. It's not the coils. The whole process took about an hour since it was my first time (I'm sure I saved hundreds for not doing it professionally). Hair dryer turned on, works like new. Slightly better than new actually as the drying time for a medium sized boot has been reduced from 40 minutes to around 25 minutes.
