Really good for the weeks after hemorrhoidectomy
According to my doctor these pillows are not suitable for people with bleeding hemorrhoids as they increase blood flow to the part of the body where you are already losing it. However, for a good 2 months of recovery from a hemorrhoidectomy, this was the only way I was able to sit at all. Back then, this pillow was my best friend and I don't regret spending money on it at all. But I also stopped using it when my doctor said (after about 8 or 9 weeks) as it would interfere with the final steps of recovery, and that was fine too. However, it was worth it!
