Kohler's style of connector is a bit tricky to use. Kohler has a video online on how to remove their "collet" connections. It basically pushes the entire hose up, holding the white plastic tabs, and then pulls the hose out. I had to pull harder than I expected and thought I was going to break something. But after a few tries it worked. Just in case, I bought a new plastic collet. It was cheap insurance. In the photo with two hoses, the original Kohler is on top. This replacement uses a more standard hose fitting washer that you can see in the bottom hose. To do this, remove part of the Kohler nozzle. The detail you see in the third image just pops out. This hose has a metal plate under the rubber washer. If it runs down the threads during shipping, it may be too close to the end for the washer to work. I had to take out the washer and screw the metal plate back on. In general the hose worked well, there are just a couple of points I would like to know upfront and hopefully have pointed out to others.
