Surprised and concerned when the hose leaked and got worse. When I bought the hose my husband was concerned that the setup would be bearish. . Very easy. Emptying the cabinet under the sink took longer than installing it. Works like new again!

I needed to replace a hose and my husband wanted to call a plumber. I told him I was pretty quick, but in the end we bet I couldn't do it in an hour. It took less than 5 minutes and if guided by an adult I'm sure a 6 year old could do it in five minutes. Clear instructions, super easy.

The Koehler collet is a terrible design. In your video, the tension hose looks so easy to replace as if it had never been used. They have hard water limescale deposits that most in the US have, making it very difficult to remove the old ones. I'm still stuck on the old one that didn't come out of the faucet, and Kohler doesn't have any tips or videos on what to do when the collet gets impounded. NEVER BUY KOHLER!

As others have said, the replacement hose is great. However, the problem lies in the "quick release" collet. I also watched the video on Kohler's site and read the comments - but the breakup didn't fly. WD-40 finally nailed it (other reviews I found also mentioned Liquid Wrench). After spraying directly in and around the disconnect area, the hose immediately detached. After that, sailing went smoothly.

Claims to be similar to Kohler hose OEM K-1219935 but has a design difference in mind that prevents the original from docking cleanly and completely. The dome on the head has a slightly different shape (cylindrical with a round head) while the OEM has a cone shape with a round head. As a result, the hose does not tear 100% like the original and there is a small gap between the evaporator head and the outlet. The evaporator head can be pushed all the way in, but this is uncomfortable.

Kohler's style of connector is a bit tricky to use. Kohler has a video online on how to remove their "collet" connections. It basically pushes the entire hose up, holding the white plastic tabs, and then pulls the hose out. I had to pull harder than I expected and thought I was going to break something.
