I have two Dobermans, one with a 17" neck and the other with an 18" neck behind the ears and jaw. Based on previous reviews stating this product runs small, I purchased the 24 inch length. In fact, it was only a "useful" length of 18 inches. The collar was very tight and covered his jaw and ears. The space was tight too. I can't use this product in training as I don't think it can breathe under extreme exertion. i like rope It seems strong. The leather ends are well sewn and appear to be resilient. I would raise the class on metal rings. They seem a little light. If this product had worked truer to size I would have given it 5 stars.
