Review on Voigtlaender Lens 17.5mm f/0.95 Nokton Micro 4/3 by Adithep Chaisan ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Mediocre goods, most likely I will not use.

I bought this lens as soon as it appeared on the market. I was seduced by the aperture ratio and the magical, unpronounceable German name. In fact, sharpness at apertures up to f / 2.0 is very weak, plus the strongest curvature of the field (the center of the frame is in focus, there is no focus at the edges - and this is not "soap", but there is no focus). Plus a huge mass - all this makes this lens of little use for landscape and photography in general. Its destiny is specific rare tasks, such as shooting video in very low light and in tight spaces. And the rest of the time it gathers dust on the shelf. I would sell it, but there is no demand for such glasses at all, for an adequate price you can sell for years, but you don’t want to merge for a pittance .
