I renovated my kitchen cabinets and bought self-closing hinges. I am extremely disappointed. There is nothing self-closing about them! You push the door and it closes with a thud, as if it were a regular, non-self-closing hinge. PLUS when you assemble the doors and screw the hinge to the edge of the cabinet, the hinge will push the door inward a little as you tighten the screws. When a set of doors is in place, the slight inward push each door receives causes the doors to work about 1/4 inch down the center where the doors meet. This introduces more frustration as you then need either cardboard or a 1/4 inch thin piece of wood to glue between the doors to push them out where they should be so the doors don't overlap. I never bought these hinges, but I didn't want to unscrew them all and take others.
