They are not suitable as replacements for hinges from the 1970s. They have the same dimensions but if you use the same holes they won't work at all. We ended up just painting our old hinges. These are fine loops but not for our use.

I like these hinges. They are exactly as described and look beautiful in my kitchen. I looked for them all over town and the cheapest I could find for $40 (which is what I needed) was $80. It was great to find them at such a price!

These are great hinges! Exactly what I was looking for at a fraction of the price I found at Lowe's. We are updating our kitchen cabinets and bought these to replace our old brass hinges! So far every single one of them has fit and worked! and I love how they update and freshen up our closets!

It was really great! My only complaint was that I had 23 sets of stitches when I should have had 25 sets. Revain was kind enough to fix the problem when it wasn't their fault. The box was intact when received from Revain. The quality of the hinges matched the price, especially since I would buy from DecoBasics again. I haven't read many posts about missing loops, so I guess it doesn't happen often.

I really liked these hinges. They are beautiful and seem to be of great quality. The only problem we had was that the holes that were screwed into the door didn't line up with the previous holes. Then the hinge itself was about 1/16 inch wider than the previous hinge so the holes didn't line up with the front of the cabinet either. Even after we hang the doors, the hinges work fine. I am very happy. with my upgraded closets!

I ordered them because we have a lot of cabinets and a small budget. We always find the ones that are broken. Then the installation can't be beat - a nightmare. Once you screw them in, they pop out and pull the door so it doesn't open at all. The only solution was to slightly screw them next to the old holes so it was pretty obvious where the old hinges were. Not worth bothering at all but we are short on time and money so finding a replacement is impossible. Save yourself the headache and buy…

These hinges are made very cheaply with apparently no quality control. Bought for a kitchen cabinet renovation and found some to be unusable as the hinge moulding/stamping was noticeably wrong. Remember there's a reason they're so cheap. The door handles ordered also looked great, but were all unusable as the mounting threads were too loose for the screws provided. I renovated my kitchen cabinets and bought self-closing hinges. I am extremely disappointed. There is nothing self-closing about them! You push the door and it closes with a thud, as if it were a regular, non-self-closing hinge. PLUS when you assemble the doors and screw the hinge to the edge of the cabinet, the hinge will push the door inward a little as you tighten the screws. AUGUST 2020 UPDATE: With absolutely average use (an opening and closing or two a day) they started to squeak and squeak horribly. Yes, this is easily corrected with WD-40, but that indicates poor workmanship.
