I have a job 05 RAM 1500 awarded! Don't get me wrong, this is very hard work when you're doing it yourself and have a full tank. I attached this part to the old one from the tank. Very similar to the OEM. If you treat it very carefully like I do. The transmitter unit is functioning normally. My gas sensor works with this pump! Great value here. I just hope it lasts at least half as long as the original. I have 138,000 miles on my truck and original pump. Give friends for you. Here are some photos of how I took mine. I removed the 6 bed bolts and pulled the wiring harness out of the bed. Then I raised the bed so that the wheel well was about 6 feet up. I put a stand between the frame and the bed to support the bed. This gave me enough room to use a punch to turn the ring and pull the pump straight up and out of the tank. This pump came with a new pump seal. But I also replaced the ring because the original one was rusty.
