Yes, it's very expensive for a rice cooker. We eat multigrain rice; brown rice, lentils, quinoa, beans. The rice cooker does a great job every time; You can try browning each grain, wet/al dente or fully cooked. We use it every day and our first one lasted about 5 years, the start button doesn't work. Now we have a second oven of the same model.
