Conclusion: Multigrain rice tastes great!

Yes, it's very expensive for a rice cooker. We eat multigrain rice; brown rice, lentils, quinoa, beans. The rice cooker does a great job every time; You can try browning each grain, wet/al dente or fully cooked. We use it every day and our first one lasted about 5 years, the start button doesn't work. Now we have a second oven of the same model.

Pros
  • Nicely built

Rice is excellent.

Easy to use, easy to clean, and cook rice as you like. He doesn't speak English so either learn some Korean or download the manual and memorize the sequences you use. I set it up for our daily rice and now just press one button to start and one when all the rice is eaten. When we evacuated, all I took with me was this rice cooker, rice, and an escape bag!

Pros
  • Even old people can understand
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

soft rice on small appliances

I had a 2006 cuckoo pressure cooker that died. It made the rice boring and said too much. In addition, the energy saving mode and turning on/off the keep warm function were difficult. Too many buttons. The husband does not understand Korean and only came in Korean. Instead, we get Zojirushi. Our Zojirushi broke down too, and the pressureless induction-heated version from the early 2000s cooked great rice, just slower than the cuckoo. It's worth waiting for the taste, and induction heat keeps…

Cooks fast but language is annoying

The rice cooker speaks Korean. The menu items on the machine are in English, which makes it convenient for me. However, the instruction for measuring the water in the pot is only in Korean. I've played with it enough to understand how to cook rice, but it's not as easy to use as my Zojirushi. However, he cooks rice very well and quickly. It cooked brown rice several times faster than my Zojirushi, which is why I bought it. I'm sure the pressure cooking function is the main speed factor and I…

It's good, but not great. Value for money isn't the best

I've used several rice cookers including Universal, Instant Pots, Zojirish (high quality and medium). I previously used an instant pot as I wanted to keep the number of utensils on the counter to a minimum. A pressure cooker and a rice cooker are what I need. The Instant Pot does both. However, Instantpot is ugly (at least for me). Works great and is multifunctional. Rice cooking isn't the best, but it's quick (especially compared to zojirushi). And if you want the best rice, just soak the rice

So impressed! - Small appliances

Just received and used for regular white rice. Fast forward 20 minutes, the best rice I've had in years came out. Going from a $15 Walmart rice cooker to this one is a big jump and I can definitely see a difference in quality. The only negative is that the low carb diet just got a whole lot harder with this little piece of magic! Cleaning is extremely easy. The inner pot is not sticky at all. and most parts are detachable so they can be cleaned easily. The rice cooker even came with a steam…

Update - Cuckoo IH Rice Cooker HS0657F

Update 2. Cooked with GABA function, it is great for nutritious brown rice cooking. The excellent texture of rice aids in digestion. Return the star I removed by 5 stars. Many parts can be disassembled for cleaning. If you do this you will have nice clean rice every time. Update: Removed one star from the 5 star rating. I couldn't set the stove to English. It's not in the paper manual. I looked on the Internet and it seemed to me that the black version can be programmed for English lessons, but

Very good rice cooker with lockable functions to make great rice

This Cuckoo rice cooker is well designed and price competitive compared to Big Japan rice cookers. Our family eats rice almost every day and we have experienced many chefs from different companies. We decided to look into high-end pressure induction rice cookers because we eat rice every day and wanted to know if we were missing out on anything special. Browsing around Revain, I found the only Cuckoo and Zojirushi pressure induction rice cookers, with Zojirushi costing about $200 more than…
