Review on Lily Sugarn Cream Ombre Yarn by Amanda Castillo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly what I needed.

This is a cotton yarn I bought for making kitchen towels. I knit and crochet and noticed that my mother's kitchen towel got very dirty. So I bought this and knitted two kitchen towels for her. The yarn itself is not very soft, but after knitting it into a fabric, wetting it and using it, everything is fine. In fact, it does an excellent job of cleaning the table when needed. I'm going to crochet kitchen napkins with 3D flowers in the shape of a granny square, which should be even more suitable for washing dishes. Cotton is not as soft as wool, but it is perfect for it. The cost is much higher than if you bought it locally, but if you can't get it anywhere else the cost isn't outrageous. It will be as much as it costs with shipping. It's much cheaper to buy them in a set of three or more.

Pros
  • Made in Canada from US-grown cotton.
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging
