Review on 🟨 Winsor & Newton Calligraphy 30ml Yellow Ochre Ink Bottle – Professional Quality by Carrie Spencer

This test report focuses on ocher yellow inks that are marked as suitable for fountain pens. Well, it can be used in a fountain pen when the pen is very wet, but also in one that can be thoroughly cleaned after each use. I tried using this ink on a cheap but good and wet Chinese fountain pen and it had a problem. This allows you to write, but you have to force more ink down the channel to keep the nib wet, and it dries out fairly quickly and clogs the nib. Putting this in a high-end pen that isn't fully functional runs the risk of clogging the feed. It's a nice color but with a good tone and some shine so I'm considering getting a cheap dip stick to use over the years, a bottle will do for me.
