I just bought a Nespresso VertuoPlus and started looking for DIY to add my favorite coffees to my coffee range. I was very excited when I found these foil seals, read the reviews and made the purchase. They work. Yes. but they are thin. I punched a hole in the foil the first time I applied it, so I used two foils and it brewed well. The size of the foil somewhat wrapped up (for me) the recycled capsule. (Rescued from a previously used Npod, cut, cleaned and dried) I was careful NOT to cover the barcode. I've watched several videos on YouTube that successfully use heavy duty aluminum foil. I just don't have the patience to cut some circles. Lol If you decide to go with alternatives, just clean your car regularly. The reused pod had a lot more coffee residue on the foil. Also, I'm still in the process of figuring out the grind size of the coffee beans. Overall not a bad buy.
