I know these quick fixes don't usually work, but I didn't gain anything by trying. For years past (70's) I've trusted the name BARs to lick radiators so thought I'd give them a try in this case. I have a newer rear end in my classic car and for some reason it was making very loud metal on metal noises under very light loads like 40mph cornering or under light acceleration. it was loud. After about 3 days of short rides, 5-20 miles, I noticed almost all the noise was gone.
