I bought these along with locks for my 2015 Ford Taurus SHO to replace the factory chrome ones. Out of 16 nuts and 4 locks I had 1 that had the black coating either chipped off or not fully applied. It was down at the open end, and once you're on the hub you can't see it. Time will tell if it will hold up to everything else and not delaminate. If using locks, be sure to install the special bushing on the lock and FULLY insert it before attempting to tighten. It takes some time to install properly and completely. When installing them and the locks I would suggest not using any percussion instruments whatsoever. 1st reason - because of coating or damage to the ears. Second, over tightening can cause the rotors to warp and vibrate. Use a torque wrench and tighten in 2 steps. 60 pounds per foot and then 100 pounds per foot. The black color of the factory 20-inch SHO wheels looks great and they go well together. The locks stick out a little more than the other bars, but they look great and a little extra security is a plus.
