Review on Portable AWOW Computer: Ultra Slim 15.6" HD, Full HD 1920X1080P Display for On-the-Go Productivity by Damon Hardy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Vivid, rich colors, great image, thin bezels, unique design

I have several inexpensive portable USB-C monitors and for me this is a step above the rest. Depending on your needs, this may not be suitable for you. Compared to my Corprit monitor of the same size, it can display about 30% brighter and noticeably richer colors. Compare the specifications with other monitors: 450 cd/m², 100% color gamut. It looks as good as it measures. The bezels on the sides and top are also much thinner. Another difference is that the screen is glossy instead of matte. This makes the image clearer and more colorful, but can be a problem when there are reflective objects behind you. The foldable body is attached with strong magnets. It's thinner than other cases I've had and part of the case doesn't protrude in front of the monitor. In the menu you can set: Backlight, Contrast, Presets (Standard, Movie, etc.), DCR (on/off), Sharpness, Temperature, Hue, Saturation, Low Blue, Volume, Mute, Language, Aspect Ratio, Reset , UltraHDR. (On/Off) and Input (C1, C2, MiniHDMI). Strangely, I don't think it can be turned off completely. But the screen goes black/backlight turns off after being idle, so maybe it doesn't matter. I really like it and I think it's a step or two better than other mid-range laptops I've seen.
