Review: AspenTek, the Company Where Customer Service Is Murdered Review:

Oh AspenTek, I don't even know where to start with you. A short while ago, I had the opportunity to make purchases from this online store, and let me tell you, it was an adventure that I won't quickly forget any time soon. To begin, the assortment of tools and goods for house improvement offered by this company is about as varied as a box of vanilla wafers. The lighting and ceiling fans section of their store was about as exciting as watching paint dry, and I was unable to find anything that was even slightly interesting or unique there. But the true deal breaker was the unsatisfactory level of customer service they provided. It's almost as if they went out of their way to recruit people who are the least motivated, least helpful workers on the entire planet. When I called customer service with a question about a product, the individual who answered the phone sounded as if they would have preferred getting a root canal instead. I mean, is it really asking too much to expect a modicum of enthusiasm and an inclination to lend a hand? And don't even get me started on how long it takes them to send orders. It's almost like they're sending packages through the regular postal. It hasn't taken longer for packages to appear from Mars than it has from AspenTek. As a conclusion, AspenTek is the right online store for you if you want a collection that is uninteresting, terrible customer service, and shipping times that would make a sloth appear quick. For my part, I'm going to have to look elsewhere to conduct business.
