I tested the unit on a variety of materials and was impressed with how well it worked. I had to turn the cordless drill on at maximum power to ensure the best cutting conditions. I collect RC airplane kits and create scratches. I bought this primarily to cut out the plastic hoods and reduce the weight of the plywood and balsa parts, but ended up cutting out some crazy geometry in the middle of the parts. So far I like it and I think it's great. I've had the best results by holding the plow handle in a bench vise and holding the drill's trigger to guide the piece I'm cutting with both hands. The only thing I was disappointed with was that 1/8 inch is the thickest material you can cut. But maybe they make different sizes and the one I choose is the maximum she can cut. Overall I love it and can't wait to use it in my projects!
