If these parts are acceptable for your application, then it is a quality part. On the Dodge Stratus/Sebring this groove is directly above the tire and is sprayed when wet. For this reason, Chrysler did not use a castle nut in this application. Salt spray can damage the cotter pin and lock it over time. The original design self-locking nut prevents the threads from rusting and better insulates the surrounding area with a nylon fastener. However, this Moog part fits the rear wheel (same size) as the rear linkage is in the rim on the Stratus/Sebring.
