I ordered two different stands to increase the height of my 27" iMac knowing I would only keep one. They both arrived today and the decision to leave Rain Design mBase , wasn't even close. The design of this device looks like it was designed by Apple. The footprint of the device is exactly the same as the iMac. In fact, I would guess that 9/10 people don't even know that the iMac is based on located on a raised platform as the fit is so seamless and the color matches perfectly.The design of the other device (which required assembly) looked like an assembly kit is required, just take it out of the box and place it on top of your iMac iMac sits firmly on the top and thanks to the rubberized base it can't move and you don't have to worry about it falling.My only regret is that I did that a few years ago haven't found ren. have some side-to-side slack on the sides. This issue must have been fixed as on my unit the drawer moves smoothly, fits snugly and has no play.
