CONTINUED - 4th October 2014: I've been using it every day since it arrived and I'm used to the sound of the engine running under load. I have found that it cannot be stopped. Even if the engine stalls under load, it keeps running and does its job perfectly. Not quite as good as my previous four WaterPik WP60-Ws, but certainly no worse. So glad it's still available as I wouldn't pay a penny for the new Aquarius WaterPik model which I bought and then quickly returned. I'm increasing my rating to four stars and will happily buy another if this one is lost. It's good, works well, contains many solutions, I don't have to worry. September 24, 2014: This is NOT as good as it used to be. It looks the same as the original WP60, but the motor isn't powerful enough. Once it fills the pump, it gets pulverized, creating a flow that isn't as strong as the original one. It outperforms the Aquarius and Ultra, but isn't as good as the original WP60. Who knows how long that will take? If you can't get your hands on the original "new old stock" WP60, you probably just need to get this one. I'm disappointed. Why did they change? Probably bean counter. I'd happily pay $60 instead of $39.95 to get the superior quality and powerful motor of the original WP60 (before it was made in China).
