This product will not last more than 2-3 years.

All previous Waterpiks I've had - tube/hose between pump and hose becomes brittle and breaks after a few years. I have exactly 3 years ahead of me. As it should be, I have to throw it away now - like every previous Waterpik. The hose/piping is NOT replaceable or repairable and I have to throw the whole machine away! Excellent. Holds a lot of solution. I would buy another. Better than Aquarius.

CONTINUED - 4th October 2014: I've been using it every day since it arrived and I'm used to the sound of the engine running under load. I have found that it cannot be stopped. Even if the engine stalls under load, it keeps running and does its job perfectly. Not quite as good as my previous four WaterPik WP60-Ws, but certainly no worse. So glad it's still available as I wouldn't pay a penny for the new Aquarius WaterPik model which I bought and then quickly returned. I'm increasing my rating to

I really like my Waterpik. I've had it for about two years and it's still going strong. Water flossing is not intended to replace traditional dental floss, but it does give you a deep, clean feeling that I've only experienced at the dentist before using water floss. 👍Irrigator for periodontitis👍

I bought this irrigator for the treatment of periodontitis and a tooth with root canal treatment + crown. I'm amazed at how much cleaner my mouth is after using it. However, I recommend reading the instructions before using it, it is not a plug and play device. I chose this model because I like that the tank can be used as a lid. I have cats who like to drink out of the sink and I love my hairspray (but not the excess hairspray that ends up on my countertop) so I like it closed so it stays…
