Great mug for tea! for my opinion

I bought this specifically for loose leaf tea. I use it with black and green tea and the strainer is excellent. My only wish is that the top porcelain cap fit more snug to trap in heat but it is very useful when steeping tea. I cannot complain for the price! great purchase.
