
My wife had several decorative pots/cups; She wanted to use them as planters but without drainage holes. So with the 1/4 and 3/8 bits I was able to easily drill holes in the ceramic pots (using a drill press, moving slowly and wearing an impervious glove on hand that will hold the pot in case it breaks). [which did NOT happen]). drilled outside; A little cracked inside when cutting the plug but not a problem if you drive slow enough. A porcelain teacup got the denture very hot and the cork ripped off some of the icing inside when the denture came through, but it's fine and the cup hasn't even cracked let alone broken. we are both happy
