Looks good and puts out a decent amount of light. Used with a color temperature of 3500K. In order not to affect the night vision, we did NOT use a color temperature of 6000K. If you're really worried, you can choose a color temperature of 2700K. On the 3500K, however, they appear bluer than expected. Since there are no color temperature specifications on the packaging itself, how do I know I got what I ordered? Obviously not. As we only needed one bulb it was a shame there wasn't a range so we could try different color temperatures. This type of LED only emits light from one side. This is an advantage in applications where the light from the other side would be wasted entering the lamp and not the vehicle. I also had some trouble plugging it into an outlet. But I measured the OEM bulb and the LED and in my case the LED was actually thinner not thicker as others have reported. I think it was because of this: the contacts were moving apart and not sticking to it. The glass was slippery than the rough surface of the LED circuit board. The solution was to do a few swipes with a file by pressing on the smoother, tapered input edge of the LED, and a few swipes to narrow the width a bit. And use diametral silicone joint to make it slide easily. The application was a 2011 Ford Ranger dome light. The OEM bulb is a 912. The measured dimensions for the base, the part that fits into the socket, are: 9.21mm, 23/64" wide 6.21mm, 1/4" long where it goes in the 2.47mm socket will fit. 3/32" thick on 3.45mm pins, 17/128" at the thickest point Measured dimensions of the LED replacement socket: 9.02mm, 45/128" wide, 10mm, 51/128" long where it fits in Nest2. 18mm Contact thickness 3/32" 2.19, 11/128" at the thickest point
