Project: Kitchen 16 x 12 ceramic tile removal. Pros: Overall, this floor scraper has served its purpose. Cons: Hour 1 the screws were loose. It turned out that a Loctite type product could have been used. I tried tightening but the lock washers had snapped off. Trip 1 to L Shop for new washers, backup locknuts and blue Loctite. Day 1 held everything. Day 2: Bolt 1 sheared off at the head. Drive 2 to the shop for new screws. Only replaced one as the Loctite held on the other 2. In the middle of the day the plate broke near the middle screw. did not affect performance. Later, on the second day, another bolt was cut off. Couldn't insert a new screw due to hole blocking plate movement, but didn't want to loosen the Loctite on the two remaining screws. project completed. See scraper photo.
