Review on Experience Ultra-wide Viewing with LG 38WN75C-B - 38 Inch Class Monitor with Adjustable Height and Tilt Adjustment by Steve Ruell

I am using this with a Macbook Pro which I got in 2018. I use multitasking, internet browsers, apps like Adobe CC, Skype, Evernote Excel, Word etc. I'm not a gamer so I'm not sure about the refresh rate. A few points that I hope will save you time: 1) This model does NOT come with any type of speaker. It has a headphone audio jack, so this way you can connect a speaker with an auxiliary cable. 2) Screen control software is available on LG website. However, for some reason they do not place it under this model on their website. But you can go to a similarly sized monitor and find it. It will say Mac OSC and is currently version 4.34. It is really beautiful after installation. 3) The screen controls work great. You can switch to different layouts very quickly and play well when moving windows. 4) After the installation I first noticed that the texts/images are too big. A quick fix was to go to SYSTEM SETTINGS -> DISPLAY -> ZOOM -> MORE SPACE. There are actually 4 options so you can choose whichever size you like best. 5) Use the included HDMI cable, not the one you have, unless you're sure it's a high-speed HDMI cable I can't imagine going back for less. 7) It can be a little overwhelming for guests or people who don't have the opportunity to get used to it. 8) Most of the YouTube videos I've watched are amazing in full screen. 9) I'm not very good at video editing but once I used iMovie for a virtual birthday message and it was great to be able to see more of the timeline etc. 10) The "C" connection is not included in this version. I think this model is a bit cheaper than other 38-inch LGs, mainly because they removed the speakers and USB-C port. 11) The main reason I prefer this version over the 38" Dell version is the screen control feature to quickly navigate through MAC applications, which I find difficult on a Dell e when not using a PC.
